The Public Procurement Law No. 2 of 2010 established the Ekiti State Council on Public Procurement and the Bureau of Public Procurement as the regulatory authority responsible for the monitoring and oversight of public procurement.

In order to effectively support the State in achieving its noble desires and intentions, the Bureau kicked off an Enterprise-wide reform program, tagged the Public Procurement Reform Program (PPRP), to double its efforts and rejig its procedures to ensure a smooth and seamless discharge on its mandates.
The 6-Point Plan of the reform program are as follow:

As part of our commitment to infuse transparency into all our activities while benchmarking global best practises and standards, we launched our OCDS Portal to provide unabated access to all the public procurement records of the Ekiti State Government through Bureau.
